Carrot, apple and ginger smoothie recipe
Delicious for all but especially good to get fruit and vegetables into children, and to fill them up during the day.


Prep time: 5 minutes


570ml; serves 1 or 2, depending on who is drinking this


  • 150ml mixed carrot and orange juice
  • 150ml apple juice, or as needed
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 5g fresh ginger, peeled and grated to a puree
  • 1½ ripe banana, chopped


1. Throw everything into a blender and whizz. Taste and add anything else you want – maybe a little more apple juice. Serve in cold glasses.
